What is your primary product or service?
Sitters Etc. provides non medical in home care for seniors, new mothers, individuals with alzheimers and dementia and anyone who needs an extra set of helping hands. We also have a call center where clients can reach us after hours, non medical transportation for individuals in wheelchairs in addition to those who need a ride to doctors appointments.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My family had a situation to were we needed assistance. The service we received from the companies we hired was not up to par. The caregivers were not trained screened, or even managed in the right way to take the burden off of our family members. That is when I decided to create Sitters Etc. to provide licensed, screen, trained, and managed caregivers for individuals who needed assistance.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The hiring and training of our caregivers sets us completely apart from our competitors. Our caregivers must have a minimum of two years of experience, pass our background checks, and complete our intensive training program. In addition to that, we have a staff that has been with us for over 7 years so we know what it takes to provide services which are the highest service levels in the industry.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
At this time we have 10 corporate locations throughout TN and AR. Our Area Developers are in Kentucky, Ohio, Georgia, and Florida and we also have 4 franchisees in Kentucky. We are expanding our corporate locations as well as selling franchises throughout the US.

Our corporate office is on Centerview Drive in Building 7 of the Synergy Business Park. Centerview is off of Church Street in Brentwood.
